What we do
We work with farms around Avon and Somerset to harvest or collect surplus fruit and veg that would otherwise go to waste. This is then redistributed to charitable food projects who are supporting people experiencing food insecurity. We’ll find a home for any amount of produce from farms, growers, allotments, orchards, gardens or other organisations!
Join us in the fields
Volunteering on a gleaning day is a great way to reconnect with nature and to learn about where our food comes from. You’ll be getting your hands dirty harvesting fruit and veg and you’ll get to meet lots of great people. Gleans can be irregular and often happen on short notice. We arrange lift sharing too as farms are normally out of town!
